即作建筑MINOR lab由建筑师与设计师组成，团队成员拥有丰富的专业经历、背景多元，于2017年夏天在北京成立工作室，创作领域跨足建筑、设计、艺术、环境以及生活方式。

即作建筑相信建筑不仅是物理环境的呈现，每个人可以于建筑中发现属于自己的瞬间，形成记忆，集结为共同的故事。从场地环境的研究、功能诉求的探索、材料构造的尝试、和施工的控制中，我们试图在时间、空间与人之间探索最佳的平衡，转化限制为新的可能，用建筑创造一系列有生命的过程而非结果，在渐分化的世界里创造对话，从而自然生长。

工作室位于北京市东城区郎家胡同，为四合院改造之新型态工作室，除开放式共同工作空间外，另有展间、咖啡图书室和厨房。

Founded in the summer of 2017, MINOR lab is a team of experienced architects and designers with various backgrounds based in Beijing. Our creative works cover a diversity of fields including architecture, design, art, environment and lifestyle.

MINOR lab believes architecture not only highlights the presence of physical environment, but also invites everyone to discover moments of their own, form memories and create shared narratives. We seek to reach a perfect balance between time, space and people, and transform limitations into possibilities by researching the environment, exploring the implementation of functions, experimenting materials and tectonics, and improving construction procedures. We also hope to use architecture as a medium to create a life experience, not just an end result, and inspire a sincere dialogue in the polarizing world, so that we can all grow and thrive.
